Is it possible to have PTSD from the job application and interviewing process? I’ll have a call with a recruiter and it goes well, then they’ll give a timeline in which I should hear back from them …and nothing. I follow up, and I hear nothing back.
Or I’ll get all the way to the final interview and then nothing. Ill follow up and get no response back.
4 months of unemployment:
I’ve gotten to 5 final interviews to be ghosted afterwards.
I’ve signed 2 employment contracts to be told 2-3 weeks later that “actually we no longer have funding for the role”.
I’ve been offered 2 jobs at 15-20k less than my asking salary which was discussed in the first interview and “within company budget”.
I can’t tell you how many recruiters never followed up after saying they would.
Now that is off my chest, back to applying! Wish me luck lol. #employment
